I have good news, it’s the weekend! I am so excited. Here are my weekend plans: watch Catching Fire, hang out with friends, take pictures for the blog and catch up on some sleep and homework (super pumped for the sleep, not so much for the homework). Since there are only weeks of school left and the holidays are quickly approaching, I really want to post as many outfits as possible. Here is my reasoning for this:
- 1) It gives me an idea of what outfits I have posted already this fall, along with those outfits I want to post before the weather gets too cold
- 2) I hope to spark some inspiration in my readers so they can find the perfect outfit for their holiday outings.
With that being said, I love this outfit and I think it’s the perfect combination of classic and casual. It’s just comfortable enough to wear to school or to run errands in, but it’s polished enough that you wouldn’t feel under-dressed while doing so. I hope you like the outfit and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

I hope all of you are enjoying the month of November! I don’t know about you, but I think November is gorgeous! With all of the colorful leaves and the brisk air, fall is easily my favorite time of year. This year it feels like it’s going by too quickly for me to sit down and truly enjoy it. But, hopefully with the holidays coming up, I’ll be able to indulge in some much needed down time relaxing and catching up with friends & family.
I have a confession to make; I am so into leather this season! It’s literally everywhere I look. I bought these faux leather leggings last weekend and knew I wanted to wear them ASAP. I have a couple of dressy holiday looks in mind that I want to use them in, but for now, I just paired them with a flannel top and studded flats for an easy weekend look.
You know Tonto always has to jump in a few pictures 😉

Hope everyone is having a great week! I’m dedicated to posting more outfits and I have promised myself that I will stop neglecting my blog. So here I am with a new outfit post!
Throughout my life I’ve had mixed emotions about denim jackets. I loved one once and rocked it back in middle school. I’m pretty sure it was from American Eagle, like everything else in my closet was back in the day. Then I fell out of love with it in high school. Now I’m a fan again. The older I get, the more I appreciate the denim jacket and what it can do for an outfit. It can make something dressy more casual and wearable. It can make a super casual outfit more polished, all depending on how you style it. Basically, when it comes to the classic denim jacket, the possibilities are endless. Here, I paired mine with a basic tee, maroon leggings, a floral scarf, and suede boots. Every piece of this outfit, other than the scarf, is very neutral and can be paired with other neutral or statement pieces. That’s what makes it so easy. Whether it’s a denim, utility, or leather, I love what a good jacket can do for your look. Oh, and I can’t forget his scarf, it’s pretty much my favorite right now.
