Pom Pom ASOS dress

Hey friends! April has flown by for me. I’ve begun supervision for my clinical licensing. In the state of Oklahoma, in order to get your LCSW (which allows you to provide direct therapy and diagnose mental illness) you must undergo 4,000 hours of supervision. Which means you find a board approved LCSW supervisor who is agreeable to supervising you. You pay them or your employer pays them, to meet with you weekly for at least one hour. So, if you’re ever interested in obtaining this license, you first need a masters degree in social work. Then you must obtain your LMSW (Licensed Masters Social Worker) which includes an application process that has to be approved by the State Board of Licensed Social Workers, followed by fees and an exam. Once you’ve passed this exam you can then apply for LCSW supervision and then begin supervision once that is approved by the board. I’m thinking of doing a whole post over this if any of you are interested in the process. Anyways, it’s safe to say April has been very busy! We were able to spend Easter in Tish with our families, which was really nice. I ordered the dress below with Easter in mind but I’m thinking of packing it for our beach vacation in May. I’ve linked the website for this pom pom beauty below!

I wanted to share this little blue and white stripe dress with you all. Once upon a time in the little town of Tish I was getting a massage at Spa 211, afterwords I was feeling rejuvenated and ready for some shopping. I headed next door to The Leopard Vine and this little beauty instantly caught my eye. If you’re ever in southern OK you should check it out. If not, they have an online shop and you can shop this dress directly. It’s under $39!

Spring Favorites

Untitled #6

Hey loves! I hope you all are enjoying March and this beautiful weather! I’m so excited for some patio time. I think hanging out on patios might be my favorite spring time activity! March is turning out to be pretty fun/busy so far. Last weekend we traveled home for the annual Johnston County Livestock show. I got to spend some quality time with my family and my favorite Southern OK boutique. This weekend we have pictures coming up with Ashley Lewis Photography, I’m so excited to get some new pictures with Billy, he’s not always the most willing to participate in photos. I went to college with Ashley and now we work at the same hospital. I love her work and I’m eager to work with her, she is one of the nicest, most genuine people I’ve met. I’m currently trying to decide what to wear for pictures so I took to Polyvore to gain some inspiration. I’ve been loving off the shoulder tops for a while now. This blue one is so pretty, I’m dying for these ruffles.  You guys already know how I feel about pom poms and tassels so these accessories should be no surprise to you. Colorful Clutch

Guys, I’m back at it with the pom poms and I can’t make myself stop. They’ve been my weakness for quite a while now and I don’t see this ending anytime soon. Billy bought me these (with some persuasion) for our anniversary last month. I can’t wait to wear them this spring. This clutch currently shows sold out but when I originally found it, it was sold out then late restocked. I have a feeling it will be back in stock so keep checking back and I’ll keep my eye out for it.

Valentine’s Day Floral

Happy Valentine’s Day loves! Billy and I are going out for a quiet dinner tonight, nothing big. We’ve already exchanged gifts because our anniversary is Feb. 12th. We actually exchanged gifts on the 10th. We’re like little kids in that way, too excited to wait. This is an outfit I wore this weekend to celebrate our anniversary but I think it would be the perfect amount of pink for Valentine’s Day. How are you celebrating this year?

Favorite Sneaker Deal

Hey guys! I have an amazing deal to share with you. Billy bought me these sneakers for Christmas and I love them so much. I’m on my feet a large part of the day and it’s rare that I find a shoe this comfortable.  They’re really lightweight while still supportive. Right now they’re under $60 and come in so many cute colors for spring. Ladies, you should treat yourself. Fellas, Valentine’s Day is next week!
